One of the freedoms we enjoy in Britain today is that everyone has the right to choose the life they want, as long as that does not break the laws of the country. We cherish that freedom, but it means that people will make up their own minds what they believe and what religious group, if any, they will belong to.
The Church respects that freedom, but also recognises that there are many sincere people whose beliefs are not in accord with the traditional Christian faith. Sometimes such differences are not significant, but in the case of Jehovah Witnesses and some other similar groups there are fundamental differences about the central doctrines of the nature of God and the divinity of Jesus Christ.
Why not look at some other parts of this website, perhaps look at some of the chapters of the book ‘Jesus - The Life’, to discover more about the Christian faith and then talk to your friends about what they believe and why?
