'Step out in faith' - Tune Woodlands (Tell out my soul)
Step out in faith and venture all for God
In quiet rest upon his loving care,
With courage walk where saints of old once trod
In willing service and in fervent prayer.
Step out in love obeying Christ's great call
To serve the world for which he cares and yearns,
Lift high his light of love which shines for all
And in a darkened world unquenched still burns.
Step out in hope and in the Spirit's strength
Be strong to serve this broken world's deep needs,
Stride on with him and go to any length
Of humble service show in Christ-lit deeds.
Step out as one and as one body go
United as God's people in his name,
Press on with eager hearts which are not slow
To seek his glory as their foremost aim.
Step out for him who reigns enthroned in light,
The One whose will by angel hosts is done.
Live out his royal praise as in his sight
-Great Father, gracious Spirit and true Son!
