OUR new diocesan offices are situated next to the cross-channel ferry port, just off the M275 motorway into Portsmouth. Diocesan staff moved into this modern, open-plan office in August 2006. The Diocese of Portsmouth jointly owns the building - Peninsular House - with Portsmouth Housing Association.

The full address is:

Exit at the first junction (signposted North End and Ferries), and turn right at the roundabout under the motorway. Take the left-hand lane, and turn left at the traffic lights and left again into our car park.

From the south:
Make your way to the centre of Portsmouth, at the top of Commercial Road. Take the M275 heading north. Keep in the left-hand lane, and exit at the first junction (signposted Ferries). Turn left at the roundabout. Take the left-hand lane, and turn left at the traffic lights and left again into our car park.

To get there by rail:
The nearest station is Portsmouth Fratton, which is a mile or so from the office. Exit the station to the north, walk along Selbourne Terrace, and turn right into Fratton Road. Follow Fratton Road north, past a large church (St Mary's) on the right, through two sets of traffic lights, and a URC church on the right, before you meet Kingston Crescent at another set of traffic lights. Turn left and walk along Kingston Crescent to the roundabout underneath the M275. Walk under the subway and you will emerge next to Peninsular House.
