Youth and Children's work in the Diocese
Welcome to the youth and children's work pages for the Diocese of Portsmouth. Here's what we offer across the diocese:
- Consultations: a one-off visit or a series of meetings with vicars, volunteers leaders or the whole church.
- Guidance: on various subjects including "communion before confirmation", employing a worker, youth & emerging worship, fresh expressions, Godly Play and best practice.
- Training: one off or ongoing support – especially for volunteer youth leaders. Regular training days or tailor made for you!
- Inspiration: preaching and teaching linked to youth and children's work and engaging communities.
- Vision: help with vision and strategy for youth and children's work
- Resources: pointing in the right direction for finding what you need.
We may not have the answers you want but we will try to support as much as possible and point you in the right direction!
