Impact Year 1 – ‘Launch’

RL - Back to John Baptizer from the Intro. Wild character, living in the Judaean desert, raising expectation of the Liberator’s launch. People are catching the mood: sorting themselves out, turning back round to God and outing themselves as God-followers by having John baptize them in front of the crowds. But it’s not just cheap symbolism; John insists on lifestyle changes. Problem is, some of them think John’s the One. Jesus, now thirty, turns up and John makes it perfectly clear that it’s Jesus who’s wearing the label ‘God’s Liberator’.
