Christmas Weekend at St Mary's Portsea
St Mary’s Portsea, with St Faith’s Landport and St Wildfrid’s, is hosting a varied and rich celebration of Christmas this year.
Friday 22nd December
Churches Homeless Action Carols
St Mary’s Church, Fratton Road, Portsmouth, Noon
A celebration of Christmas and distribution of vouchers, collected via local churches and groups, to agencies who will be supporting the homeless over the Christmas season. A chance for us to share a ‘gift’ with others.
Sunday 23rd December
Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols
St Mary’s Church, Fratton Road, Portsmouth, 6 pm
A traditional telling of the Christmas story through readings, carols sung by the congregation and choir. The service will be followed by Sherry and mince pies.
