Service of Dedication & Inaugural Recital
Please join us at 4pm on Saturday 16th July 2022 for a Service of Dedication, Heritage Restoration Presentation by Dr. William McVicker and Andrew Caskie (Nicholson & Co. Ltd.), and an Inaugural Recital given by Thomas Trotter.
The comprehensive historic restoration of our 1889 J.W. Walker & Sons Ltd. pipe organ in St Mary's Church, Portsea, began in October 2020, undertaken by Nicholson & Co Ltd. of Malvern, with expert guidance from Dr. William McVicker and funding support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. At Easter 2022, our complex restoration programme will complete and we are excited to be able to welcome visitors to St Mary's Church for a Dedication Festival in July 2022.

- Inaugural Recital given by Thomas Trotter
The recital will include an interval for refreshments and is anticipated to end at 6:45pm. The organ will be opened up for a limited number of Heritage Tours following event end, until c. 8:30pm. Book free tickets here.
