E-learning modules C0 and C1
C0 is suitable for all individuals within the church community who need to have a basic awareness of safeguarding. It can also be used as an introduction for anyone who is interested in how the church approaches safeguarding work.
The link below will take you to the Safeguarding Training Portal for the Church of England. You will need to register with your e-mail address and a password and you can then complete the Basic Awareness C0 module.
The C1 module is compulsory for anyone whose work brings them into contact with children, young people and/or adults who may be at risk, or who supervise those who do.
We use the Church of England C1 e-learning programme which cover issues specific to the protection of adults or children within our organisation in regard to safe working practices, signs and symptoms of abuse and how to respond to concerns.
Aim: To provide introductory training on how to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and/or adults who may be at risk of abuse.
Details: The C1 E-learning module is a pre-requisite for attendance at other training modules.
If you have any problems accessing this course please contact Theresa Winship at firstname.lastname@example.org or 023 9289 9665
Please note: our training may cause emotion in those who have suffered abuse, as children or adults, now or in the past. For help and support in regard to this please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding team.
