    Portsmouth School Pastor’s Coordinator

    Approx. 10 hours a week
    likely to be less to begin with- Term time only (£10 an hour)


    Portsmouth Street Pastors (PSP) operate under the umbrella of the Accession Trust (AT) which is encouraging a number of school pastor projects round Britain (information may be found at http://www.schoolpastors.org.uk/) sometimes as an extension to an existing Street Pastor initiative.

    The PSP set up a School Pastor project in Portsmouth in 2016 and a team currently operates in Charter Academy in Southsea on Monday and Friday lunchtimes. There has also been some interest from other schools.

    We are now looking for expressions of interest from willing and able committed Christians who would like to be considered to work with the PSP Trustees to lead and develop the project into its next phase.

    The following is a working draft setting out the (wide) range of activities that the successful appointee would need to manage.

    The successful applicant will be responsible to the trustees through the Portsmouth Street Pastors Resource Manager.
