Mental Health Chaplaincy
Chaplains are employed by the NHS to support staff, patients, service users and carers of all faiths and none. They are available to listen to experiences and support people in exploring the ‘bigger questions’ in life.
In our Diocese the majority of mental and forensic health services are delivered by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Mental health chaplaincy services on the Isle of Wight are provided via the chaplaincy team at St Mary’s Hospital, Newport. Contact chaplaincy team leader Kelvin Burke:
Our Diocese also has a mental health adviser James Hair who is happy to give general information and advice on mental health issues. Get in touch
