Four days of concerts and performances from a wide variety of groups, musicians and singers, embracing a range of styles and genres.

Wednesday 11th June

  • 12:30pm – Organ recital
    The 2025 Festival opens with an free Organ Recital by Anthony Froggatt, former Organist and Master of the Choristers at Portsmouth Cathedral. Light lunches to purchase will be served from 12 noon.
  • 7:30pm – Concert
    The festival is delighted to welcome back the Band of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary. Its members are drawn from serving and retired staff of the Force, both police, support and from family members. A great evening of brass band music! Tickets: £10 – book here.

Thursday 12th June

  • 12:30pm – Oaklands Roman Catholic Secondary School recital
    Oaklands Roman Catholic Secondary School have kindly supported the music festival since it first started. Every year they bring some extremely talented performers to entertain. We’re looking forward to their singing and playing again this year. Light lunches to purchase will be served from 12 noon. Free event.

  • 19:30pm – Evening Concert
    A great evening of singing with both the Solent Male Voice Choir, with musical director Huw Thomas, and Cascade Chorus, a ladies choir in barbershop style under the musical director Debs Thompson. Tickets: £10 – book here.

Friday 13th June

  • 12:30pm – Horndean Technology College recital
    Horndean Technology College – another very welcome return to our festival! The school always bring a talented group of young people playing a range of instruments. Light lunches to purchase will be served from 12 noon. Free event.

  • 2:30pm – Cowplain Ukulele Players recital
    Cowplain Ukulele Players will bring their fantastic selection of songs and you’ll be swept up in their enthusiasm. The lovely ladies from St Georges will serve delicious cream teas while you enjoy the music! Free event.

  • 7:30pm – Folk and Ale
    We are delighted to welcome Magpie Lane to the festival. Magpie Lane is a five-piece folk band from Oxford, specialising in traditional English songs and dance tunes. Visit their site for extracts from 10 superb albums. Tickets: £10 – book here.

Saturday 14th June

  • 7:30pm – Party Evening
    ABBA Rival have a superb live show which delights and entertains audiences everywhere. They have a unique ability to re-create the massive and legendary sound that is ABBA with uncanny accuracy. It will be a great party atmosphere! Tickets: £15 – book here.
