We are looking for an inspirational, faith-filled person to lead our work among 0-11s with care and dedication.

Crofton Parish has a long history of ministry to children and young people. We wish to appoint a committed Christian to lead our work with children into a new season. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to develop Crofton’s ministry to children and families, working alongside a committed team of volunteers.

With a large number of children and young people involved in the life of our church, we are looking for someone to lead this important ministry area and develop new ways for children to find faith for themselves and within their families. The successful candidate will be able to draw upon their gifts to grow a strong community within our children and families, helping them to grow as life-long disciples of Christ.

Presently, we run a range of groups for children and young people of all ages. We also have excellent relationships with the schools in our community. We are looking for someone who will nurture and care for the children and families already involved in parish life while working alongside the staff team and volunteers to develop new pathways into belonging for under 11s and their families in our community.

Please Note This is a part-time post and all part-time applications will be considered. We are also advertising for a person to lead our youth ministry. The two roles could be combined, with a candidate with a focus on either children’s ministry, youth ministry or both. Such a (nearly) full-time position (32 hrs/week) could involve leading in your specialism and overseeing the other.
