Theme: Whole-Life Faith: Dietrich Bonhoeffer 1906-1945

A study day for licensed clergy and Readers, to gather and learn. Bishop Jonathan has invited Rev Dr John McCabe, author of Dietrich Bonhoeffer – The Last Eight Days to lead this study day. John retired as Rector of Byfleet after 18 years in post last July and has benefitted from a partially Bonhoeffer-inspired rule of life encompassing a related PhD in 2015.

Timetable:

9.30am: Gathering and Refreshments

10am: Session 1: The Responsive Bonhoeffer

11am: Break

11.15am: Session 2: The Reflective Bonhoeffer

12:15pm: The Eucharist

1pm: Lunch

1.45pm: Session 3: Faith in the Present Moment - with plenary and Q & A

3pm:  The Blessing
