How to Deal with Email Scams and Nuisance Calls

Do you suffer with:
- Unwanted Scam and Nuisance phone calls?
- Emails that don’t look genuine or ask you to click on links or attachments?
Do you get mail telling you that you have won millions of pounds in a prize draw that you haven’t entered?
Come along to our information event where Sally Ash, Enforcement and Community Protection Officer for Trading Standards Isle of Wight, will give a talk primarily about online scams and being safe online but will also discuss doorstep crime and phone scams as unfortunately once you have fallen victim to a scam you are more likely to be targeted repeatedly.

Did you know:
- Approximately 3.2 million people (that’s one in 15) fall victim to scams each year
