The theme of the this year’s annual diocesan conference for Licensed Lay Ministers (Readers) was ‘Fuel, Feed and Focus’:
Fuel: How do we connect to the presence and power of God?
Feed: How do we nourish our ability to go on searching
Focus: what is the main impact of our ministry?
The Bishop of Sodor and Man, The Right Rev Robert Paterson, was the guest speaker. His talks were challenging both to the present and future of the mission and ministry of the Church and are reproduced here in full:
