Webinar: Is Net Zero Carbon worth it?
Part of a series of monthly webinars for clergy and Readers.

Is net zero carbon really worth it? The increase in extreme weather events caused by rapid climate change is now undeniable, and a recent survey showed that over 80% of the population are concerned and want to do something about it. However, fears over the high cost and restrictiveness of implementing net zero carbon technology and policies are causing confusion over the way forward, as is misinformation that’s sparking a media backlash. The Church of England has committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030, and already much progress has been made across the country and in our diocese.
Find out how you and your church can engage with creation care, progress on the journey to becoming net zero carbon, and hear answers to some of the misunderstandings on climate change.
Speaker
Matt Lockwood is net zero carbon and communications officer for our diocese and was worked in media and design for over 30 years. He is a licensed lay minister and leads worship regularly at his church in Stubbington.
