An opportunity for Spiritual Directors to consider the important and often neglected role the body plays in our spirituality and how to access its wisdom more fully.
We hope to look together at
- how and why we often place too much emphasis on our intellect/thinking in our journey of faith
- resources to help directees who are ‘stuck in their heads’ get in touch with their bodily experience and what it might be telling them
- how we might live out an embodied faith, that is more holistic and open
Facilitated by members of the spiritual direction network: Catherine Edenborough, Pauline Yong, Janet Clarke, Karen Shapey, Sarah Kite and Sarah Hinson.
