40th May Fayre
On the May Bank Holiday, from 10am - 4pm, St Mary’s Church will invite the local community into its churchyard for the May Fayre. As always, there will be fairground rides and stalls for young people, a series of impressive music and dance performances, and a host of independent businesses selling food, crafts and bric-a-brac.
- 10am to 4pm
- 4th May (May Day Bank Holiday)
- St Mary's Church Portsea, Fratton, Portsmouth
The Fayre will be celebrating 100 years of Portsmouth’s status as a city. St Mary’s is proud to be a part of Portsmouth and its community and the event will reflect on this throughout the day. St Mary’s will also be celebrating its 40th May Fayre, giving thanks for those who attend, the partner organisations which make it possible, and its extraordinary team of over one hundred volunteers. Also this year, the fayre coincides with 'Star Wars Day'; St Mary’s will be wishing ‘May the 4th be with you’ to all those who visit.
