Our '100 Faces' project

We're marking our centenary as a diocese with a project called '100 Faces'. We’re taking photos of 100 different worshippers from across the diocese, and will exhibit those photos in our cathedral during 2027. It will be a snapshot of the people in our diocese at the moment of our centenary.

Each photo will be accompanied by a caption, telling their story of faith, as a way of celebrating the wonderful people who are part of our cathedral and diocese. These photos – and some accompanying videos – will be shared here on our website and social media as well during 2027.

An example is shown above - Tano Osu-Bovi, aged 17, sings as part of the worship team at St Jude’s Church, Southsea, and is part of the group that meets regularly for High Tide youth services.

There's still time for you to nominate individuals from your parish with interesting stories to tell as part of this project. We’re not necessarily looking for those who have been part of our churches for decades – it might be a younger person or someone new to your congregation. But email us here if there’s someone you’d like to nominate (just ask their permission first!).
