Churchwarden Training Session
Churchwardens are warmly invited to attend a dedicated training event hosted by the Diocese of Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the role, connect with colleagues from across the Diocese, and gain practical guidance to support your ministry.
- Monday 7th September
- 10am to 12:30pm
- Peninsular House, Portsmouth
The event will feature guest speakers from a range of diocesan departments, offering valuable insights into key aspects of church governance, administration, safeguarding, and parish life. The Diocesan Registrar will also be present to provide guidance on legal responsibilities and regulatory matters.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and reflect on any issues or challenges you may be encountering within your parish.
Whether you are new to the role or have many years of experience as a churchwarden, we warmly encourage you to join us for what promises to be an informative and supportive occasion. We very much look forward to welcoming you.
Please note that parking is very limited at Peninsular House, so do look to arrange transport with other churchwardens and use local transport or nearby parking areas.
