CMD: Thinking Theologically about Conflict & Peace
Jesus said “Blessed are the peacemakers.” What does it mean to be a peacemaker? What does God call us to do in times of conflict? This day will be interactive with lecture and discussion, exploring various biblical texts in relation to themes of conflict and peace. We will explore underlying biblical perspectives and methods of peacemaking to address conflict and injustice, and consider the theological resources available to us for understanding how to live faithfully in conflict-ridden times.
