AS they travel daily by train between Portsmouth and London, commuters glimpse the tiny church of St Hubert at Idsworth, the chapel in the field just north of Finchdean, Rowlands Castle. Many hundreds more visit the church as they walk or cycle country trails.

In addition to its well-known wall paintings, something very special will attract visitors during the Bank Holiday Weekend of 24-26 May. As part of the celebrations of 950 years of worship, a flower festival will be held and Bishop Kenneth will lead a thanksgiving service.
