  • New Fareham vicar is a church-planter

    Bishop Jonathan has appointed the Rev Henry Kendal as the new vicar of St John’s Church, Fareham. Henry was vicar at St Barnabas, Woodside Park, in London, until 2022. In his 23 years at the church, they planted six new congregations. Read more

  • Bathroom Bank to tackle hygiene poverty

    Paulsgrove Bathroom Bank has been established at St Michael and All Angels’ Church to tackle hygiene poverty in their local community, opening three days a week for people to collect free toiletries and hygiene products. Read more

    Bishop Jonathan has appointed the Rev Tony Lawrence to be priest-in-charge designate for four parishes on the Isle of Wight. Tony has just finished his curacy in Ventnor and Bonchurch, and will take charge of four parishes in Godshill, Ventnor, Lake and Shanklin. Read more

    The bishop opened a new centre in Charter Academy that will offer students help with their social, emotional and mental health. It will bear his name as ‘The Jonathan Centre’, and aims to offer a programme of therapeutic interventions that all students can access. Read more
