ST JAMES IS OPEN EACH DAY FOR PERSONAL PRAYER AND FOR VISITORS FROM AROUND 9AM TO 4PM.
St James' Church sits at the heart of the small coastal town of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. In the spring and summer months the town welcomes many visitors but still has an active year round community of local residents who value St James' Church and its' role in the local community.
The church is a Grade 2* listed building of historical significance and is one of the 12 Churches and 11 Parishes which make up the West Wight Benefice along with All Saints Church, Freshwater and St Agnes Church, Freshwater Bay, Christ Church, Totland Bay and the churches Anglican churches in Thorley, Shalfleet, Newtown, Calbourne, Shorwell, Brighstone, Mottistone and Brook.

A service of afternoon worship - our third Sunday service service starts at 4.30pm but do come for refreshments before hand - from 4.00pm. A chance to worship at a different sort of time from many Sunday services. This is a service for regular worshippers, occasional worshippers, visitors, all ages. All welcome.
