Sunday

  • Holy Communion

Common Worship Traditional words. Quiet service.

Every Sunday at 8 a.m. for 35 minutes

    Common worship, Communion, Church

  • Thy Kingdom Come

In each of our churches we will have a ‘Prayer Wall’ consisting of a fishing net, onto which personal prayers may be added. This will provide an opportunity to pray for five friends (or people who are in particular need of prayer) by writing a short prayer on a card and hanging it on the prayer wall. The prayer should not name who you are praying for, but ask God for his grace for those people, which you keep a record of and pray for them each day.
In addition, each day there will be a 30-minute prayer session at 12 noon in one of the four churches in the plurality, as follows:
Friday 26 May Binstead Holy Cross
Saturday 27 May Wootton St Edmund
Monday 29 May Havenstreet St Peter
Tuesday 30 May Wootton St Mark
Wednesday 31 May Binstead Holy Cross
Thursday 1 June Wootton St Edmund
Friday 2 June Havenstreet St Peter
Saturday 3 June Wootton St Mark
Each session will reflect on a short passage of scripture and a picture, followed by prayers.

    Every 1st , 4th and 5th Sunday , Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , Friday and Saturday at noon for 30 minutes

    Common worship

  • Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Services

Ascension is the day when we remember Jesus’ return to heaven after his resurrection, and Pentecost is when we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Jesus’ disciples. The nine days between these two celebrations offer us an opportunity for prayer and reflection as we long for that gift of the Holy Spirit for ourselves and our communities
In this in-between time, we invite you to pray with us, “Thy Kingdom Come” – that the Holy Spirit would come and bless and challenge us to witness to God’s life-changing work.

Every Sunday , Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m. for 20 minutes

    Church, Prayers, Thykingdomcome, Pentecost

  • BCP Evensong

Traditional service in parish church. No choir.

    Every 2nd , 4th and 5th Sunday at 6 p.m. for 40 minutes

Common prayer, Church, Singingevent, Eveningworship, Hymnsevent
