All Saints Church, PO8 0TD
All Saints Church is a welcoming Christian community, with a lovely church building that goes back at least as far as the 12th Century in parts, and is part of the Church of England within the Diocese of Portsmouth.
"FROM REVD RICHARD:
We have worked really hard to establish All Saints as a safe space for private prayer, and have precautions in place aligned with government and national church guidance. We are opening the church building twice weekly - two hours at a time - for private prayer, which allows 72 hours between each open period to assist us with minimising our deep cleaning requirement. We continue to investigate how we can potentially open more regularly; for the time being opening is limited to private prayers only. This means that, for the immediate future, our church buildings remain closed for gathered worship, including Sunday services, which we continue to deliver via the internet through Live@10 on Sundays, and our Thought for the Day and Morning and Evening Prayer on other days of the week.
The parish of Catherington: All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Portsmouth’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
