St James Church, Clanfield: St James
South Lane Clanfield Waterlooville Hants, PO8 0RA

St James is a friendly Christian community, with a traditional small village church building, belonging to the Church of England in the Portsmouth Diocese.

Our main service move to a slightly later start time of 11.15am from 28 November 2021.  There will be one service at 11.15am most Sundays which will alternate between a Holy Communion service and a non-Communion service. The only difference to this will be in months where there are 5 Sundays - on those fifth Sundays we will have a joint Benefice service with All Saints Catherington, starting at 10am. The is an 8am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion Service on the 4th Sunday of each month. Please look at our Services and Events page for more details.

For COVID-19 Updates please see our News page.

The parish of Clanfield: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Portsmouth’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
