St James Church, PO8 0RA
St James is a friendly Christian community, with a traditional small village church building, belonging to the Church of England in the Portsmouth Diocese.
FROM REVD RICHARD:
"It is such a delight that we have been able to use our church buildings for a while now, and this remains unaffected by the latest COVID-19 restrictions. We are working hard to offer a range of worship opportunities and I am pleased to say that we can now offer Holy Communion on Wednesday at All Saints, sister church to St James. This means that the 5pm Sunday Holy Communion is now the single weekly service at St James. Booking for this service is via the Parish Office (07873252517) on Thursday between 10am and 12pm."
The parish of Clanfield: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Portsmouth’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
