Understanding Christianity

Understanding Christianity is a national project that the Church of England has invested in heavily and is expecting us to roll out to all of our schools (it will be an aspect of the new SIAMS framework). The materials are very high quality and have been extremely positively received by the schools who have attended the training so far. We have been working with Hampshire on how they can be integrated into the Living Difference agreed syllabus, which will be explained during the training.

Almost three quarters of our schools have now taken part in the Understanding Christianity training and the feedback has been unanimous that the materials are a very helpful addition to RE teaching. The course takes place on Tuesday 5th March 2019 and Friday 15th March 2019, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on both days. Download the booking form to apply for a place on either day. The training will take place at Old Alresford Place and the cost will be £110, which will include a set of the materials.
