Archdeacons’ Visitations

Once a year, churchwardens from each parish spend an evening with their local Archdeacon, talking as a group and individually about how things are going in their churches.

2026 summary

Visitations took place across our diocese, with many new churchwardens being sworn into post during the services that closed each evening. Though short, each of these visitations are valuable to the ongoing relationship with parishes and their archdeacon, a chance to review the previous year and set practical goals for the upcoming one.

Here’s a selection of photos from each of the visitations.
